The three residues of forest gardens refer to: cutting residues (branches, branches, trees, bark, leaves, roots, vines, shrubs, etc.); Lumber residues (referring to timber truncation); Processing residues (referring to bark, slats, wood and bamboo truncation, saw foam, broken veneer, wood core, shavings, wood blocks, leftover corners, etc.).
Cutting residues and timber residues account for about 40% of the forest biomass. According to the forest cutting quota of 0.25 billion m3/a during the "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" period approved by the State Council, China will produce about 0.11 billion t of cutting and timber residues every year. In addition, the processing residues also have a high annual yield of 32.1 million m3 calculated as 34.4% of the log.
