Shanghai Lanze Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Lanze Energy) is composed of the team of Professor Sun Yuhan of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shanghai Lianhe Investment Co., Ltd., Shaanxi Coal and Chemical Industry Group Co., Ltd., Shanxi Lu'an Mining (Group) Co., Ltd. and other scientific research teams, science and technology investment, Energy Industry Group jointly initiated the establishment of a green energy technology industry company. The company focuses on green energy technology research and development and industrial development, provides complete carbon neutral industrial solutions, and produces and sells green fuels such as sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), green methanol, green hydrogen, and green ammonia. Lanze Energy also laid out biomass green fuel and non-biomass PtL green fuel.
July 12, 2023 is the eleventh "National Low Carbon Day". Yancheng City held the city's low (zero) carbon industrial park and green low-carbon development demonstration zone construction promotion meeting. Fan Weiyao, general manager of Lanze Energy, and Guo Zhengrong, deputy general manager, were invited to attend the meeting and signed a tripartite cooperation agreement with Dafeng Port District and Yueda Group. The 500000-ton biomass green methanol aviation fuel project plans to invest 8.3 billion yuan, the 600000 cubic meter liquid ammonia storage tank base project plans to invest 3.5 billion yuan, plus the scientific research base project, the total investment is 12.8 billion yuan. The completion of the 500000-ton green methanol aviation fuel project can solve more than 4 million tons of biomass waste from Yancheng every year.
On November 20, 2023, the Lanze Energy Project with an annual output of 300000 tons of green methanol in Jiangsu Dafeng Port Economic Development Zone was launched, covering an area of 356700 square meters. The total investment of the project
2.25 billion yuan. Using agricultural waste as raw material, using independent intellectual property rights of green methanol production technology, high-level series of catalysts, innovative research and development of biomass gasification production equipment, green methanol production equipment, and the whole use of green electricity, the production of biomass green methanol. The construction of the project is not only a positive response to the national dual carbon policy, but also marks that Dafeng is about to become an international leading biomass green navigation fuel base.
